DESIGNER SNUGGIE: A Functional Blanket

WRAPPED IN FLEECE
The Designer Snuggie is a cool way to keep warm snuggling with yourself this winter. It’s a huggably soft over sized fleece blanket built like a poncho. If you haven’t seen one yet, they look like a monk’s robe without the hood. Of course, you don’t see monks clothed in any fabrics that resemble zebra, leopard or camel. The best thing about the Designer Snuggie is that you’re covered in fleece, but your hands are free to do whatever, and not wrapped around you to keep your afghan from falling off when you get up from the couch.
When I first saw them on the As Seen On TV ad, I knew I had to try it. Because I’m not really big, I thought I might have trouble with it dragging on the floor as I walked around. The comfort and convenience of the Designer Snuggie more than makes up for any dragging. I just pick up the front a little, and away I go! It’s now my “go to” after getting the kids to bed, and while I’m relaxing and trying to unwind.
HANDS FREE SNUGGIE
THE DESIGNER SNUGGIE is a great idea for bundling up while keeping your hands free for projects while you’re relaxing. My husband likes it too, especially when there’s nothing underneath on a cold night! I think at first they made just a Snuggie in three colors. Then their marketing department must have got the idea that the collegians and alumni would make an ideal market, and now there’s the Collegiate Snuggie as well as this newer Designer Snuggie in these three animal prints.
HOW MUCH?
I ordered mine in the zebra pattern. I really couldn’t see my husband wearing a Designer Snuggie, so I ordered the extra one in the leopard pattern for my sister’s birthday present. The total cost for the two including shipping is $36. They also throw in two small book reading lights with the offer. If you’re not in to ordering off TV ads, I’d suggest you give this a try as it’s a pretty safe bet.
